Receiving Expands Its
VIP List at CD Event
On November
20th, Detroit Receiving Hospital hosted the CD release party for the 11th annual
Smooth Jazz Charity CD. Those who attended this free event were added to
DRH's VIP list for early access to information and giveaways. If you have a DRH Full
Access VIP pass, check to see if your number is below. You could be a
winner!

each won two tickets to the Smooth Jazz Holiday Concert featuring Dave Koz &
Friends (Wednesday, December 12th, 8pm at the Music Hall):

will be forfeited. Prizes must be picked up at Detroit Receiving Hospital
(4201 St. Antoine, Detroit, 48201) during regular business hours. Those
picking up prizes must have proper identification.
Receiving Collects Clothing
for the Homeless
For the 13th year,
Detroit Receiving Hospital partners with Detroit Red Wings
for Motor City Mitten Madness (MCMM). MCMM is a charity initiative which is part of the frostbite prevention
program at Detroit Receiving’s
Burn Center. Detroit
Receiving volunteers will be collecting cold-weather wear for distribution at
area shelters.
Hockey fans are asked to donate
cold-weather wear items such as gloves,
mittens, scarves, socks and hats at two upcoming Detroit Red Wings’
games, (Tuesday, November 27th at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, November
29th at 7:30 p.m.)

Detroit Receiving Offers Unique Urological
Surgery
With the launch of the Center for Urologic Reconstruction,
Detroit Receiving expands its scope beyond the region to care for patients
throughout the Midwest. The Center is led by
Dr. Richard Santucci, Receiving’s chief of urology. Dr. Santucci is one of
about a dozen surgeons in the country who performs these specific and
intricate reconstructive urological surgeries. Click here to learn

DRH Launches Speakers Bureau
Detroit Receiving Hospital has launched its new speakers bureau program. This new adult health outreach and education initiative
will bring physicians, nurses and other allied health
professionals from Receiving into the community to speak at
health fairs, community meetings and other organized events
