With OHS FastTrack service you’ll rest easy knowing we provide among the best around-the-clock emergency care in Michigan through Detroit Receiving hospital. As a verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Detroit Receiving is ready to handle any medical emergency 24 hours a day and its medical staff boasts some of the most prominent experts in trauma and emergency care.

In fact, nearly 60 percent of Michigan’s emergency room doctors are trained at Detroit Receiving. OHS FastTrack is designed to identify those patients treated at Detroit Receiving's emergency department for injuries, illness or exposure related to occupational conditions. We carefully monitor each OHS FastTrack patient, walking them through their course of treatment and providing continual reporting to employers and third-party administrators. OHS FastTrack service helps expedite the occupational health care process, often having the patient out of the emergency room within three hours, barring admission or extensive trauma.

How does OHS FastTrack work?

It’s easy. If your employee is injured or becomes ill on the job during normal business hours, and is taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital, just call DMC OHS to notify us that the employee is on the way. Our OHS FastTrack case manager will meet the employee upon arrival, and contact you within 24 hours. For injured or ill employees arriving after hours or on weekends, our FastTrack case manager will contact you by the end of the next business day. All occupational health patients admitted to Detroit Receiving Hospital through the emergency department are included in our OHS FastTrack system.
