Once our patients have been discharged, the Ambulatory Burn Clinic provides ongoing clinical support to complete the healing process. Our clinic services include: dressing changes, follow-up care, evaluation and management of delayed wound healing, chronic wounds, frostbite, compartment syndrome and more. Social workers and psychiatric consultants are available on an outpatient basis to assist with one’s psychological adjustment after discharge. These services are available for all patients, even those not treated at Detroit Receiving.
